Good governance is more than regulatory compliance and paperwork. Painful lessons have shown that structural issues of Board and committee composition aren’t enough. The next frontier of good governance is about knowing how the organization really operates. This means moving beyond just the Board, to strengthen:

• How information flows up the line to support better decisions; and,
• How decisions flow down to get implemented reliably and well.

We work with companies and Boards to make significant gains in both areas. These challenges aren’t primarily structural – if structure is the skeleton, these are the nerves and muscles. They animate the organization, and are the foundation of both great governance and strategic alignment, all the way from the Board to the front line.
